YESTERDAY: Norfolk 8, @Buffalo 5… The Herd fought hard last night but came up short as they managed to score just five runs on eleven hits… 1B JORDAN BROWN(3-5, RS) doubled to left in the bottom of the 5th driving in a run… 2B TONY GRAFFANINO was a home run short of hitting for the cycle as he tried to kickstart the offense as he went 3-5 with a RS, 2B and a 3B… CF BRAD SNYDER(2-5, RS, RBI) went deep to right in the bottom of the 8th… RHP JEFF WEAVER suffered his 2nd loss of the season as he tossed 6.0 innings yielding 7ER on 12 hits and a homer while walking one and striking out four… 3B ANDY GONZALEZ was 2-3 with a RBI and a BB… LF JASON COOPER(0-3) chalked in an RBI in the game.

RHP JOSE JIMENEZ (1.0IP, H) threw another shut out inning and he has yet to allow a run this season in 9 appearances for the GCL Indians (9.1IP, 3H, 2BB, 11K).
