Salt Lake Bees Rally in Bottom of the Ninth to Defeat the Tacoma Rainiers, 3-2
Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 12:16PM MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com- Jordan Czarniecki drove in the winning run with a two single in the bottom of the ninth inning, as the Salt Lake Bees rallied for a 3-2 win over the Tacoma Rainiers on Monday night. Tacoma broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth on a solo home run by Shawn Garrett off of Matt Wilhite, but with one out in the bottom of the ninth Dee Brown legged out a double to left field. After Brandon Wood walked, Ben Johnson singled home Brown to tie the game. Adam Pavkovich grounded into a fielder's choice to advance Wood to third and he came home with the game winner on Czarniecki's soft liner into centerfield.
