MLN Newswire-www.mlntherawfeed.com-The Bridgeport Sound Tigers earned four of a possible six points with a
regulation win, an overtime victory and a loss against three teams with
winning records this past week. The Sound Tigers defeated Norfolk 6-3 at
home last Wednesday, topped Lowell 3-2 in overtime on the road on Saturday
and fell 5-3 at Manchester on Sunday.

In the standings: The Sound Tigers have a record of 10-8-1-3 and are in
fourth place in the East Division.

Working overtime: Saturday's 3-2 overtime win at Lowell marked the eighth
time in their first 21 games that the Sound Tigers went to overtime - the
first five were settled in shootouts.

Take your best shot: The Sound Tigers have six wins in games during which
they are outshot by the opposition.

Between the pipes: Goaltender Wade Dubielewicz stopped 30 shots in
Wednesday's 6-3 win over Norfolk and kicked aside 34, including four in
overtime, at Lowell in Saturday's 3-2 win.

Helping his own cause: When Dubielewicz wasn't stopping pucks from going
into the net he was helping his team score at the other end of the ice.
Dubielewicz assisted a goal in each of his last two games, including one on
Allan Rourke's first tally of the season at Lowell on Saturday.

Hot hand: Jeremy Colliton entered last Wednesday's game with four points
this season; Colliton doubled that total by the time he skated off the ice.
Colliton had a goal and three assists in the win over Norfolk. He scored the
game-winner, shorthanded, in overtime at Lowell and extended his
goal-scoring streak to four games with another net-finder in Manchester on
Sunday. Colliton now has five goals and five assists this season.

Still streaking: Jeff Tambellini had a goal and an assist in Wednesday's
win, and added three assists in the two weekend games to extend his point
streak to nine games. Tambellini leads the Sound Tigers with 22 points on 11
goals and 11 assists.

Good start for Nolan: Newcomer Brandon Nolan drew a penalty to help set up a
5-on-3 power play goal by Chris Campoli in his Sound Tiger debut at Lowell
on Saturday. Nolan scored his first goal in just his second game, the next
night at Manchester.

Making a killing: The Sound Tigers continue to lead the league in penalty
killing (90.9 percent) at the start of the week. They've allowed just 13
goals on 142 opponent power plays.

Powerful advantage: Bridgeport's power play had a solid week, going 4-for-10
against Norfolk, 1-for-4 against Lowell and 0-for-2 at Manchester - a
combined 5-for-16, a little better than the league-best of 24.3 percent.

Not bedeviled: Lowell's new affiliation with the New Jersey Devils gave the
city's franchise a clean slate with all-time records against opponents.
Lowell earned a point in Bridgeport's 3-2 overtime win, but the Sound Tigers
continued their success against Lowell with the win. The Sound Tigers were
15-6-1 against the old Lowell Lock Monsters.
