MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - The Youngstown SteelHounds just cannot seem to skate past the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs as they lose to the Bugs for the fourth time this season by a score of 5-3 at the Chevy Centre on Thursday night.

The Hounds started off fast and furious as Chris Richards scored a power play goal just five minutes into the game to make it 1-0. The fast start was quickly turned off as Cam Abbott scored two goals in a row, both on the power-play to make it 2-1 Mudbugs. Joe Ori then scored his first of two on the night to make it 3-1 and seemingly have the game in control. The Hounds answered back as Stephen Margeson scored his eighth of the season to end the period with the Hounds down 3-2.

The second period saw Kelly Sickavish score his second goal of the season but by that time it was too late as Joe Ori and Karlis Zirnis scored to force goaltender Brad Roberts to the bench and put the game out of reach for the eventual 5-3 victory.

The Mudbugs have now won seven straight games as they lengthen their lead on Youngstown for second place in the Northeast division as Bossier-Shreveport improved to 27-11-5 (59pts), 11 ahead of the SteelHounds who dropped to 20-15-8 (48pts).
