The RiverKings took a 2-0 lead with a Ryan Held first period goal and a Steve Makway power play goal in the second. Oklahoma City responded with a goal at the tail end of the second followed by the tying goal by Marty Standish at 7:43 of the third period.

Sheldon Wenzel reclaimed the lead for good for Memphis as he redirected an Andrew Davis shot with 9:47 remaining in the game. Louis Dumont sealed the win with a long empty netter with 13 ticks left.
