MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - San Antonio After being awarded his Player of the Week honor from earlier this month, Rampage center Alex Leavitt showcased his talent in front of a season-high AT&T Center crowd of 6,901 before the Rochester Americans pulled out a 2-1 win Saturday night.

The rookie Leavitt broke Adam Berkhoel’s shutout bid at 14:36 in the third period when he squeezed the puck between Berkhoel’s right skate and the left post to bring the Rampage back from a 1-0 first period deficit.

Donald MacLean extended his point streak to seven games by assisting on the Leavitt’s eighth goal of the season. MacLean has now registered a point in 17 of his last 19 games.

Former Rampage Kamil Kreps felt right at home as he scored the game-winning goal at the 16:28 mark with a power-play goal, his 11th on the season.

Rochester ’s David Brine opened the game with his fourth goal of the season with 1:41 left in the first period.
