MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - TRENTON, NJ (March 26, 2007) – A nine-point effort (4g, 5a) from the line of
Scott Bertoli, Les Haggett and Benoit Mondou helped the Trenton Titans to a
5-2 win versus the Cincinnati Cyclones in front of 4,008 on Sunday afternoon
at the Sovereign Bank Arena.

With the game tied 1-1 in the early minutes of the middle period, Mondou
gave the Titans their first lead of the game, finding a loose puck in
traffic atop the crease and sweeping a backhand shot past the leg pad of
Cedrick Desjardins at 5:04.

After Mike Wirrl tied the score at 2-2 three minutes later with his
league-leading 44th goal of the season, Mondou picked up his second of the
contest and 22nd of the year at 12:01 of the second when fired a turnaround
shot from the high slot that got past a screened Desjardins.

That would be all the offense that Trenton would need, but Scott Bertoli
added some insurance in final period gathering his 24th and 25th goals this
season over a span of 3:01 to complete his three-point game (2g, 1a).

Greg Stewart opened the scoring at 11:49 with a power goal off of a nice
centering feed from behind the net by Jason Deitsch. The Titans answered
back on the man-advantage 2:13 into the second stanza as Jake Ortmeyer took
pass from Mondou and sent a wrist shot from the point that found the back of
the net.

Haggett helped along the strong performance by the top line with three
assists, while Mondou registered a four-point game (2g, 2a), the highest of
his pro career.

Gregg Naumenko stopped 22-of-24 shots to gather his 20th win of the season.
The Titans finished 1-for-7 on the power play and 5-for-6 on the penalty
kill.
