Toledo Storm Defeat Johnstown Chiefs 3-1- ECHL

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Toledo, Ohio (April 5, 2007) – The Toledo Storm defeated the Johnstown
Chiefs by a score of 3-1 at the Toledo Sports Arena on Wednesday night.

With Johnstown on the power play, Toledo struck first, when Scooter Smith
stole the puck and fired a snapshot past Chiefs goalie Morgan Cey for a
shorthand goal at 7:52 of the first period. The Chiefs evened the score on
the man advantage at 14:34 of the first period when John Adams fired the
puck from the top of the right-wing circle past Toledo’s Logan Koopmans.

The Storm regained the lead at the 4:17 mark of the second period when
Jeremy Hall took a pass from Brent Sullivan at the top of the slot and
fired it past Cey. Toledo would cushion their lead with a power-play goal
from Nick Parillo, who picked up the rebound of a shot from Mike Walsh at
7:51 of the second period.

The Chiefs were 1-for-4 on the power play, and Morgan Cey made 27 saves,
taking the soss.
