Shawn Horcoff To Represent Edmonton Oilers At NHL All-Star Game In Atlanta

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Edmonton Oilers assistant captain Shawn Horcoff has been named to the Western Conference All-Star Team for the National Hockey League All-Star Game on Sunday, January 27th in Atlanta.

This will be the first NHL All-Star Game appearance for Horcoff, who currently leads the Oilers in scoring with 18 goals and 39 points in 44 games.

Horcoff, who appeared in the 2002-03 NHL YoungStars Game in Florida as a replacement for an injured Ales Hemsky, is one of four players on the Western Conference roster making their first All-Star Game appearance.

The roster additions were selected by the NHL’s Hockey Operations Department, after consultation with NHL general managers.
