Windsor Spitfires Joshua Bailey Added to All-Star Roster - OHL
Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 12:23PM MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Windsor Spitfires’ forward Joshua Bailey has been added to the Western Conference roster for the 2008 OHL All-Star Classic at the Steelback Centre in Sault Ste. Marie on February 5 and 6, 2008.
Bailey replaces Matt Halischuk of the Kitchener Rangers who is unable to play in the game due to injury.
Bailey, an 18-year-old native of Bowmanville, is enjoying a sensational third season in the OHL with 20 goals and 42 assists for 62 points in 46 games. He was rated 12th among North American prospects in the NHL Central Scouting mid-term rankings for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Bailey, who also played in the OHL All-Star Game last year in Saginaw, participated in the Home Hardware CHL Top Prospects Game in Edmonton on Wednesday and was the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week last week.
