Odessa, TX – It was a fast start for the Odessa Jackalopes, who scored three first period goals, but a slow finish as the Arizona Sundogs came back with six of their own in the 7-4 Arizona win on Tuesday night at the Jackshack.
Mike Ramsey, Jeff Pierce, and Sebastien Thinel each scored a goal to give Odessa a 3-2 lead at the end of the first period.
Arizona scored four unanswered goals in the second period to take a 6-3 lead into the second intermission, and would never look back. AJ MacLean added an empty net goal in the third period at 19:21 for Arizona to make the final score 7-4.
Karl Sellan, AJ MacLean, and Odessa’s Mike Ramsay were named the three stars of the game.
Odessa will host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday at 7:05 PM at the Ector County Coliseum.
