Kory Karlander and Nick Bootland rank first and fourth in the league in scoring with a combined 119 points. Karlander leads the league with 63, while Bootland has 56. Bootland is tops in goals scored with 31, while Karlander is first in assists with 36. Bootland has 13 power play goals and Karlander has 18 power play assists.

Bootland has a team-high 11 points against the PrairieThunder (6 goals, 5 assists), while Glenn Detulleo and Karlander have 10 pionts each.

Goalie Jeremy Symington has a 14-8-2-2 record and is 3-0-0-1 against the PrairieThunder. The Wings are 9-11-2-3 at home.

PrairieThunder rumblings

Don Parsons leads the PrairieThunder with 49 pointst to rank tied for seventh in the league. He is second in power play goals with 12 and fifth in shots with 190.

Parsons has scored at least one goal in four of the last six games. During those six games, he has scored six goals and added one assist for seven points.

Parsons has a team-high 15 points against Kalamazoo this year on seven goals and eight assists. Leo Thomas has 10 points on three goals and seven assists.

Defenseman Rod Aldoff has scored seven points in the last nine games and four in the last four games. He sat out Wednesday’s game against Flint.

When Tim Schneider recorded his first assist of the season last week, it means everyone on the current roster has recorded a point. Schneider added his second assist on Wednesday.

The PrairieThunder has scored 7 of a possible 12 points in its last six games as the offense came to life, scoring 19 goals in six games. In its 10 previous games, the team scored just 17 times.

Jon Booras has scored at least one point (11 total) in the last eight of the last 10 games, including the last five.

The PrairieThunder has a 15-0-1-1 when allowing two or fewer goals in a game and 9-2-1-0 when leading after the first period and 11-2-0-0 when leading after the second period. The team is 15-4-1-0 when scoring first.
