Tulsa Oilers and Oklahoma City Blazers Square Off for Final Time this Season

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – *Blazers Last Trip:* The Tulsa Oilers host the Oklahoma City Blazers tonight for the final time in the regular season.

*Records: *Oilers are 19-28-3 with 41 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division.
Oklahoma City is 22-23-6 for 50 points in third place in the Northwest Division.
*Season Series: *This is 11^th of 12 meetings between these two teams this season. Oklahoma City has won seven with one of those being in overtime; Tulsa has won three games with one of those coming in a shootout. Thus, the Oilers are 3-6-1 head to head, while the Blazers are 7-2-1. The Oilers won the most recent contest, 2-1 in Oklahoma City on February 9^th .
*Recent Action: *The Oilers won a see-saw battle last night and raised their shootout record to 5-1 with a 6-5 win in Amarillo. It also gives the Oilers a 7-1-0 record against Southern Conference teams this season. The Blazers are coming off a 4-0 loss at Rocky Mountain last night.
*Hold The Milestone, Please:* The Oilers are trying to delay Oklahoma City coach Doug Sauter getting his 500^th coaching victory with the Blazers.

*Beau, Beau:* David Alexandre Beauregard scored the Oilers fourth goal last night and also got the game winning goal via the shootout. His two goals give him the team lead with 28.
*Postgame Festivities:* Following tonight’s game, fans will have the chance to bid on the Oilers gray and maroon home jerseys. Immediately following the jersey auction, Ju Jax hosts its fourth annual Meet the Oilers party. Ju Jax is located at 155^th and Memorial in Bixby.
*Next Up: *The Oilers embark on a three game road trip starting Tuesday in Wichita at 7:05 p.m. their next home game is Tuesday March 4^th against Mississippi at 7:05. Oklahoma City visits Colorado on Wednesday.
