Columbia Inferno Double Up the South Carolina Stingrays 4-2 - ECHL

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (March 16, 2008)-- The Columbia Inferno (29-26-4-6, 68 points) exorcised some recent frustrations as they beat the S.C. Stingrays (40-22-2-1, 83 points) 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Brad Ralph gave the Inferno a 1-0 lead when, while on the powerplay,  his 17th of the season found its way past Josh Johnson at the 13:23 mark with assists to Eric Lundberg and Todd Perry. Recent acquisition AJ Bozoian scored his first goal in an Inferno sweater three minutes later to put Columbia up 2-0; Mac Faulkner and Jeremy Schenderling earned the assists. The Stingrays cut the lead in half in the final minute of the first when Travis Morin netted his 32nd goal of the year, beating Jeff Jakaitis while getting help from Cail MacLean and Marty Guerin.
