Las Vegas Wranglers Stun Utah Grizzlies with 4-3 Win - ECHL

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Las Vegas, Nevada – The Utah Grizzlies (30-26-2-6) were unable to hold a 3-2 third period lead and fell 4-3 in regulation to Las Vegas (40-11-5-7) Saturday night at the Orleans Arena.

Neither team ever led by more than one goal in the contest as it went back and forth throughout.

Utah battled back from two separate one-goal deficits before taking a 3-2 lead on an Evan Kotsopoulos (7) goal 49 seconds after Scott Burt (24) tied the game at two on a power-play goal at the 12:16 mark of the period.

Sean Offers (2) tied the game at one for Utah on a power-play goal at 15:34 of the first period.

Las Vegas came back with two five-on-five goals (4:52, 13:29) in the third to hold on for the 4-3 win.

Utah outshot Las Vegas 44-27 in the game and 34-17 through two periods.

For the second-straight game, the shorthanded Grizzlies dressed just 14 skaters.

Rookie goaltender Wylie Rogers stopped 23 of 27 Las Vegas shots in his professional debut.
