Adam Courchaine of Ottawa 67s Named OHL Player of the Week

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com - TORONTO, Ont.  - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Ottawa 67’s goaltender Adam Courchaine is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week after posting a 2-1-0-0 record along with a 1.33 goals against average and .961 save percentage in three games last week.

 Courchaine was the first star after making 42 saves in a 2-1 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on Wednesday in Kingston.  He allowed two goals on 28 shots MLNGirlsFeb2008_Lisa.jpg

and was the second star in a 2-0 loss to the Peterborough Petes on Friday and finished the week with 28 saves and was the third star in a 5-1 win over the Sudbury Wolves on Sunday.

 Courchaine improved his season record to 17-25-2-2 with a 3.24 goals against average and .905 save percentage in 48 games. The 19-year-old from Kanata is in his first OHL season.
