The speedy center, acquired by the Brahmas November 11, has made his presence known in the league as he is 7th in rookie scoring and 3rd among rookies in the "3 Star Leaders", a category created by the CHL to identify superior play on a single game basis.

As a special teams catalyst, Skworchinski has 4 powerplay goals, 10 powerplay assists, 2 shorthanded goals and a team-leading 3 shorthanded assists.  The Marathon, Ontario native also leads Texas in shooting percentage.

Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong believes Skworchinski's honor was well-deserved due to his contributions on the ice.

"This award is a great for Tyler; it's a credit to his smart play, incredible speed and unbelievable skills.  We are thrilled to see him get rewarded for his outstanding play" said Wildfong.
