Game 2 Goes to the Texas Brahmas who Blank the Mississippi RiverKings 3-0 - CHL Playoffs
Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 08:21AM MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Brett Jaeger made 23 saves as the Texas Brahmas shutout the Mississippi RiverKings 3-0 tonight in Game 2 of the Central Hockey League's Ray Miron President's Cup Northern Conference Opening Round.
Greg McConnell scored his second goal of the playoffs with 5:45 remaining in the first period to give the Brahmas a 1-0 lead. Grant Jacobsen scored his first goal of the series on a power play with 6:33 remaining in the second period to make it 2-0. Then Scott Sheppard scored a power play goal for his first of the playoffs with 13:19 remaining in the third period to seal the deal for the Brahmas.
Sebastien Centomo made 27 saves for the RiverKings.
