WHL Draft to Take Place May 1st and Regina Pats Hold 10 Selections
Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 09:49AM MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Regina, Saskatchewan – The 2008 WHL Bantam Draft is scheduled to take place Thursday, May 1st, in Calgary, AB. The draft will begin at 8:30A.M (SK Time), with the Red Deer Rebels holding the 1st overall selection.
Heading into Thursday’s draft, the Pats hold a total of 10 selections to pick from the top 1993-born players from across Western Canada and the United States.

5th round, 105th overall
6th round, 127th overall
7th round, 149th overall
8th round, 171st overall
9th round, 193rd overall
10th round, 215th overall
11th round, 237th overall
12th round, 259th overall
The Pats have dealt away two of their picks in this year’s draft through previous trades.
3rd round, 61st overall (traded to PA in Ryan DePape deal)
4th round, 83rd overall (traded to KAM in Ryan Bender/ Victor Bartley deal)
