Mikkel Boedker of Kitchener Rangers is Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com – Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Mikkel Boedker of the Kitchener Rangers is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday May 4 after scoring two goals and adding six assists for eight points in the first three games of the Rogers OHL Championship Series against the Belleville Bulls.

 

Boedker scored the first goal and added a pair of assists and was the second star in a 5-2 win in the series opener on Wednesday. He scored a goal and an assist and was the first star in a 5-2 win in Game 2 on Friday and finished the week with three assists in a 5-3 win in Game 3 on Sunday.

Boedker, an 18-year-old from Brandby, Denmark, has nine goals and 21 assists and is second in the OHL playoff scoring race with 30 points in 16 games. He is a highly rated prospect for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft next month in Ottawa.
