Jereme Tendler Named Corpus Christi IceRays Player of the Month For October

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -Forward Jereme Tendler has been named the Corpus Christi IceRays Fine Jewelry Outlet Player of the Month for October, IceRays General Manager Pat Dunn announced on Tuesday.  Tendler led the team in goals and points during the six-game month. He will receive an IceRays watch, courtesy of Fine Jewelry Outlet for his achievement.  The IceRays will return to action this Thursday and Friday night at 7pm to host the Odessa Jackalopes and Allen Americans.  For more information, please call the IceRays at 361.814.PUCK or visit them online at www.goicerays.com

Tendler, 26, is in his second season with IceRays and first full year in Corpus Christi after being acquired from the Tulsa Oilers in February of last season.  Since his arrival, he has had a huge impact on the IceRays.  In the opening month of the season, he has continued to be a force putting up six goals and two assists in six games.  He is tied for third in the CHL in goal scoring, tied for the league lead in shots with 35, and Tendler is the only player on the team with points in every IceRays game this season.  His six-game point streak is tied for the longest this season in the CHL.  Dating back to last season, the Viceroy, Saskatchewan native has 24 points (18g, 6a) in his last 22 games in an IceRays sweater.  ADVERTISEMENT

Tendler’s brilliant month was highlighted by a hat trick performance on Oct. 30th when his three goals helped spark a third period comeback to force overtime against the Odessa Jackalopes.  It was the fourth hat trick of his career, and third as an IceRay in just his 22nd regular season game.  The IceRays would like to congratulate Tendler on his achievement, and along with Fine Jewelry Outlet in the Sunrise Mall, reward his success with an IceRays watch.

For more information on IceRays related jewelry products, please contact the IceRays office at 361.814.PUCK or call Fine Jewelry Outlet in the Sunrise Mall at 361.991.5722.  The IceRays will return to the American Bank Center on Thursday Night at 7pm to host the Odessa Jackalopes on College Night, presented by 95.5FM and 92.7FM.  College students will receive discounted tickets starting at just $5.  Then on Friday night, the IceRays host the Allen Americans at 7pm, and will wear specialty jerseys commemorating the Boy Scouts of America on Scout Night.  It’s also Frosty Friday’s with half-priced 24 oz. sodas and beers at the game.  200 tickets to both games are available in the Flint Hills Chill Zone, available for purchase at $7 each on game day.  For more information, please call the IceRays at 361.814.PUCK or visit them online at www.goicerays.com.
