MLN Newswire - Reading, PA – Reading Phillies General Manager Scott Hunsicker has announced that Mike Robinson has been promoted to Director of Group Sales; and Tim McGee, Tim Martino and Curtis Burns have been hired to full-time  positions.   In addition, Kevin Sklenarik and Andy Kauffman have new titles.

“We’re very excited to give Mike this well deserved opportunity and also to be able to hire Tim, Tim and Curtis, all
former interns, to important full-time positions,” Hunsicker said.  “Sixteen of our 22 full-time employees were once
interns and we are proud of our ability to promote from within because we value the family atmosphere that
creates.”

Robinson, 41, will oversee the Reading Phillies Groups Sales operations which this past season accounted for a
significant portion of Reading’s Eastern League leading attendance of 460,216 fans.  His department consists of three
full-time employees, several interns and game day staff.

Robinson has spent the last four seasons (2003-2006) as a Group Sales Manager focusing on customer service.  Prior
to that he spent 10 seasons on the Reading Phillies game staff as an usher.  His last three seasons on the game staff
he was the head usher.

A 1983 graduate of Reading High, Robinson studied Organizational Management at Eastern University and
Communications at Bloomsburg University.  He has been an assistant football coach (backs and receivers) at Reading
High since 1993.  He resides in Sinking Spring.

McGee re-joins the Phillies in a full-time role as Group Sales Manager to work with non picnic area groups.  Upon
graduating from DeSales University in 2000 with a B.S. in Sports Management/Business, McGee interned with the R-
Phils.  After his internship he was hired in ticket office of the Reading Royals Hockey Club (ECHL).  As the Director of
Ticket Operations for the Royals he was named the ECHL Ticket Executive of the Year in 2003.  McGee graduated
from Daniel Boone High School and currently resides in Exeter.

Martino has been hired as the R-Phils full-time Operations/Concessions Assistant after working in that department as
an intern the past two seasons.  He’ll assist in all stadium operations.  Before interning he was a member of the
game day concessions staff since 1996.  Martino graduated from Kutztown University in May with a degree in
Mathematics.  He’s a Muhlenberg High School graduate and a resident of Muhlenberg Township.

Burns has been hired full-time as a Client Relationship Manager after interning with the team this past season. He’ll
handle corporate sales, the R-Phils school programs and the wildy popular Sovereign Bank Mascot band.  Like
Martino, he graduated from Kutztown University this past May but with a degree in General Studies/Sports
Administration.  A native of Warminster, Burns graduated from William Tennent High School.  He resides in
Myerstown.

Sklenarik, a front office member since 1996, has had Director of Baseball Operations added to his title which also
includes Director of Merchandise.  Sklenarik will expand his duties to include assisting the Philadelphia Phillies in
matters regarding team travel and individual player travel as it relates to roster moves.

Kauffman, a front office member since 2003, is now the team’s Video Director.  His title better describes his role with
the club as the R-Phils place greater emphasis on video production both in stadium and online at readingphillies.com.
