MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - Omaha , NE – The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that they have hired Jeff Barnhart as the team’s Director of Sales. He will lead the Knights’ corporate and ticket sales initiatives.

“Jeff’s experience and knowledge of the greater Omaha area make him a real asset to our organization,” said Ren Smith , Ak-Sar-Ben Knights’ President. “As we prepare for our third season in Omaha, Jeff will be working with our existing staff to develop sales strategies that will strengthen our place in the vibrant sports landscape here.”

Barnhart comes to the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights from the Boy Scouts of America where he served as the assistant director responsible for Council operations in 58 counties in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. While there, he developed and managed sales force development, volunteer recruitment, fundraising programs, special events planning endowment, camp operations and membership recruitment. Prior to that, he worked for Methodist Richard Young Hospital in Omaha.

The Omaha native is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in Education. He and his wife Samantha have a son, Gavin.
