National Womens Football Association Grants License to Fort Worth for 2009 Team

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – The National Women's Football Association has announced that a license has
been grant for a Fort Worth team for the 2009 season. The team is named the Lone
Star Mustangs and is owned by LynMarie Liberty-Ellington.

As a long time business owner, LynMarie Liberty-Ellington recently moved from
Denver, Colorado to the Ft. Worth area. "I was looking to do something that
would utilize my business skills, my love of football, and my interest in
helping the community," states Liberty-Ellington. As a mother of four, she wanted
to have a business that was kid-friendly and supported women's interests. She
looks forward to the opportunity to give women a chance to play a sport they
were once only able to watch.
LynMarie dreamed of one day owning a football team. After researching the
various leagues, she chose to work with the NWFA. "With all the business
materials on the market, there are no resources that tell us how to run a successful
football franchise. I felt it was important to partner with a league that was
supportive and insightful. I feel I have found that with NWFA.
"We are very happy to have someone with LynMarie's credentials and expertise
running this team. She's got what it takes to make her team one of the best in
our league and we look forward to having her and her team as part of our ever
growing family," states league CEO, Catherine Masters.
LynMarie Liberty-Ellington received her MBA from the University of Phoenix in
2005. As a team parent for youth football and coach of youth cheerleading,
LynMarie understands the hard work and dedication it takes to have a successful
team both on and off the field! "I am excited to be part of such a wonderful
opportunity. We hope that our organization can be a great inspiration to
others."
LynMarie now lives in Garland, TX with her husband, Mike, son Eric, and three
daughters. "Our daughter was one of the first 7 year old girls in her league.
We know girls want to play. They just need to know they can!" Ms.
Liberty-Ellington is currently planning an information night to give the community an
opportunity to get involved with the organization. Tryouts for the team will be
announced soon. For more information please contact LynMarie at
